Women Entrepreneurship

Yagmur and Yaprak twins are born in 1993. Yagmur is recently graduated from Architecture in Yeditepe University and Business Administration in Anatolian University. Yaprak is recently graduated from Law at Ozyegin University and International Relations in Anatolian University.

The Story of Device and Brand

All over the world, it has been a rocky road for women entrepreneurs especially in terms of being part of the technological innovation. As twin sisters who are both university students and women entrepreneurs, we believe that it is our mission to be successful in this area in Turkey. Our aim in success is to provide such an innovative device as PEGGYMATIC to cats, dogs and their owners.

Our work idea is authentic and innovative. Our aim is to meet a real need and provide an answer to a problem while generating a value with a growth potential, combining our team’s experience, skill and competencies with a product. In other words, we believe that PEGGYMATIC is successful in terms of realizing an idea into a productive and innovative device for everyday usage of pet owners.

Training and Support

Twins attend entrepreneurship education at KOSGEB (Republic of Turkey - Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization) to learn business planning and then participate in their training program. After their training, they qualify for Industrial Application Support and General Assistance Program. In order to provide the financial support needed in the commercialization process, TEB (Turkish Economy Bank) provide credit support with the help of Credit Guarantee Fund. They also benefitted from entrepreneurship training and experience from TEB Initiative, a unique organization for new entrepreneurs.
